With the rise of the internet, however, the transfer of religious knowledge has shifted to digital spaces such as websites, social media, and other online platforms. This has led to a proliferation of religious content and a blurring of the religious expert authorities, some of which may hold extremist and intolerant views. The objective of the study is to examine the major role of the pesantren educational tradition as the basis for strengthening religious moderation in the post-truth era. In the post-truth era, there are shifting models of Islamic da’wah which was originally at the practical level to the media level, as well as the rise of phenomenon where the objective facts do not influence public opinion. The researcher used a qualitative approach to identify the role and implications of the sanad tradition on the high index of potential for radicalism by internet users. Qualitative work steps such as observation, documentation, and literature study techniques were used by the author in this research. The researchers identified that Islamic boarding schools in their history are closely related to the scientific sanad tradition which can be a counter to extremist religious content in social media. The scientific sanad tradition in Islamic boarding schools has argumentatively not easily believed in religious doctrines without going through direct contact with spiritual teachers. Despite its importance, there has been limited research on Pangestoh. This study aims to explore the implementation of Pangestoh, its role in community participation, and its impact on the social life and independence of students. This qualitative research employs a phenomenological approach, focusing on the Raudlatul Ulum Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School in Sumberwringin, Jember Regency. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involves describing the general meaning of participants' experiences related to Pangestoh. The findings reveal that Pangestoh is integral to the spiritual and social life of the boarding school, emphasizing mutual trust, loyalty, and active community involvement. It significantly shapes the students' character and supports the institution's goal of spreading Islamic teachings and fostering a sense of solidarity and mutual support. Pangestoh, as a commitment value, is vital in developing the student's character and the institution's effectiveness. One key element is the role of the dai or preacher in conveying Islamic values to students and the surrounding community. However, the development of preaching in these schools faces several challenges, affecting its quality and impact. This research explores how Islamic boarding schools and preachers can design more effective development strategies aligned with contemporary demands to improve the quality of preaching and the schools' contribution to forming an Islamic values-based society. The study focuses on the education of Dakwah Pembina at the Nahdlatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Soreang Maros, addressing three main questions: the implementation of the Guidance Da'wah Strategy, the materials used to support da'wah training for students, and the advantages and disadvantages of Santri da'wah training at the school. The research aims to deeply understand the Da'wah Strategy of Guidance at Nahdlatul Ulum, explore supporting materials for Da'wah training, and analyze the training's strengths and weaknesses. A qualitative approach is used, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Results show that Nahdlatul Ulum Soreang Maros implements the Guidance Da'wah Strategy through various activities. Supporting materials include Formal Madrasah Education and the Study of the Yellow Book. Despite being part of the basic education system, MIs face challenges in quality enhancement. Islamic boarding schools, as traditional educational institutions, have the potential to support MI development, yet this potential remains underexplored. This qualitative study employs a case study approach, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis for data collection. Islamic boarding schools significantly contribute to improving MI education quality through various means, including curriculum development, teacher provision, training, infrastructure support, and extracurricular collaboration. These contributions enhance both the processes and outcomes of MI education. The strategic partnership between Islamic boarding schools and MI is vital for advancing basic education quality in Indonesia. Strengthened collaboration is essential, leveraging the expertise of Islamic boarding schools in Islamic education and character building while providing MI with additional resources and support. Especially boarding or dormitory-based institutions such as SMA Islam Al Azhar 24 Boarding School. Human resources who apply good leadership patterns also give birth to good systems. This research will discuss the leadership pattern applied at SMA Islam Al Azhar 24 Boarding School from several activities ranging from establishing the Al Azhar Santri Boarding Organization, Vocabulary Delivery, and Amaliyah Worship Activities. Researchers describe and analyze each activity at SMA Islam Al Azhar 24 Boarding School. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Researchers describe and analyze each existing activity. The results show that the leadership pattern at SMA Islam Al Azhar 24 Boarding School is perfect so boarding activities can run smoothly. The leadership pattern formed by the principal and teachers to Al Azhar students with a control system (guided, escorted, assigned with a spiritual approach to leadership, an idealistic approach, a humane approach, and a task approach and students can control boarding under the organization formed. Previous studies have not fully addressed how scabies is perceived and constructed within this community. This study focuses on understanding the meanings and social interactions surrounding scabies among santri. Using a qualitative exploratory descriptive approach, data were collected through participant observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Analysis involved data interpretation, display, and conclusion withdrawal, guided by Berger and Luckmann's theory of social construction, which includes externalization, objectivation, and internalization. The findings reveal diverse meanings attached to scabies among santri, including "santri stamp," "legitimate," "grace and favors," "blessing entrance," "routine disease," and "the value of togetherness." These meanings stem from social prestige and collective subjectivity shaped by the roles and statuses within the boarding school environment. The social construction of scabies among santri is maintained through the ongoing willingness of social agents to adhere to daily activities that reinforce existing social constructions.
